Looking At The Three Different Fuji Instax Cameras

By Helen Mcmillan

Many people are still fascinated with taking snapshots the old school way, just like instant photography. Thanks to the popular company Fujifilm, this art is kept alive. Currently, it's offering three different Fuji Instax cameras that allow you to instantly enjoy printouts of your snapshots, as with the olden times.

While it seems like other camera manufacturers are dishing out mostly compact cameras, instant ones aren't completely forgotten. For instance, casting and modeling agencies still take advantage of them. Such technology comes in handy especially when matching models with their wardrobes. Many scrapbook buffs also find it beneficial to have instant copies of photos taken at a recently-held event worth remembering.

The biggest of the bunch of instant cameras offered by Fujifilm is called the 210. It's something recommendable for people with big hands, sparing them from fumbling with the controls of a small camera. The rounded body allows for easy gripping so you can take your snapshots hassle-free. It measures 178.5 x 94.5 x 117.5 millimeters and weighs 650 grams.

It features a large optical viewfinder to help you frame your subjects better. When not being used, the lens is retracted in order to protect it and to save on space as well. The flash automatically adjusts, handy when using the device in places with dim lighting conditions. The film size measures 108.0 x 86.0 millimeters although the actual picture only measures 99.0 x 62.0 millimeters. It's available in cartridges containing 10 films.

The smallest of the bunch is called the 50S. It's available only in glossy black, a color which is known for its simplicity and elegance. Even when you use it at night, you can enjoy clear and sharp snapshots. That's because it features an adjustable shutter speed, useful when taking photos at night or in places where there's insufficient light.

On the other hand, a huge portion of the Mini 7's body comes in white color. However, you can grab one that matches your personality as it's available with touches of pink and blue. Its casual appearance makes it an ideal unit for practically anyone who likes to carry around an instant camera in case any special moment happens.

Measuring only 112.0 x 96.5 x 49.5 mm, the 50S has a weight of only 275 g. On the other hand, the Mini 7 is slightly larger than this, measuring 121.5 x 119.5 x 70.5 mm. It tips the scale at 320 g. The instant film cartridge of these two Fuji Instax cameras yields 10 prints. Each print measures 86.0 x 54.0 mm, though the actual picture measures 62.0 x 46.0 mm only.
