New York Photographer

New York photographer Michael Keel has been operating the photography studio in NYC for nearly 3 decades. Some of the highlights regarding his profession originate from quite a long time alliance with Candice Night along with Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple), a fashion display for Hugo Boss featuring Gisele Bundchen, a visit through America's national landmarks to photograph automobiles for Korea's SsangYung Motors. Various other highlights include taking images of John Travolta and Kelly Preston for the "Fight for Children" charity organized by Ports 1961 and coverage images for Doug E. Fresh, Lauryn Hill, Gossip Girls's Michelle Trachtenberg, Rebecca Gayheart as well as Cara Mia Wayans.

Michael Keel discovered his passion for photography at a young age because of his father's career as an archeologist. He came with him to archeological sites where artifacts were excavated and photographed. At the age of 12 he began capturing, developing and printing his personal pictures. While enrolled in Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio he began his photography profession taking pictures for the university's photography and graphic design studio.

Michael Keel arrived in New York City in his early 20's. On his arrival he proved helpful as a photo assistant. Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein were first clientele. A couple of years later he opened up his studio. He started out shooting portraits, expanding his market to feature style catalogs, advertising, as well as architectural photography. Michael Keel is very well recognized for his imaginative portraiture, this led to a one man at the Bond Street Gallery.

Englewood, New Jersey is his present-day home which he shares with his wife Joanie and daughter Zoe. As a young girl Joanie worked for Wilhelmina Modeling Agency in N.Y., L.A. and also Paris, gathering clients like Merle Norman Cosmetics, Ivory Soap and nationwide TV ads for Clairol, Listerine, and EZ Spirit Shoes. She came out in the long version of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video. She has a fashion design degree from Mundeline College in Chicago. She now works together with Michael as his fashion stylist and makeup artist. She likewise owned and operated some sort of women's clothing store for 11 years in N.Y.'s popular East Village. With Michael's outstanding marketing images Zoe has worked for Wilhelmina Modeling Agency since birth, being in the New York Times promoting for Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue. Zoe's some other clientele consist of Burlington Coat Factory, Scholastic Books, and Toy's R Us.

Michael Keel enjoys developing distinctive photographs for diverse customers in New York City's Chelsea District. The studio can be found at 305 7th Avenue on top floor, the penthouse studio. Beside the studio space, he has roof entry and an abundance of fascinating sites in the neighborhood.
