By Amie Rearden

Are you wondering what career to choose? Do you want a career that allows you to earn some excellent money as well as use your talents and skills? How about a career in the creative arts? The creative arts field is vast and you can easily choose something that helps you combine your talents and interests in the best possible manner.

When it comes to the creative arts field, most people think about becoming a painter, a writer, or a sculptor. However, you could consider a more specialized career which could offer you great money as well as a chance to use your creative talents. For example, you could consider graphic designing and choose to design attractive ads and products.

As a cartoonist or animator you could make some excellent income. If you like online racing games, you could consider a career as a game designer. It will require a combination of artistic and computer skills as well as some writing skills as you design the game plan, the character names, and the storyline.

Photography is one of the careers that allows you to make money while using your creative talents. It involves taking photos of people or things either just as an art form or even for commercial use such as in newspapers and magazines. You could specialize in journalism, portrait, fashion, or even in family photography based on your likes and dislikes.

A career ideal for music lovers is sound or audio engineering. You get the chance here to work on music and sounds in a recording studio. You may have to record, mix and edit sounds, music or voices. Or you may synchronize dialogue, music and sound with visual action in a movie or documentary.

You could also consider becoming an industrial designer or product designer. These people design products ranging from cars to speaker systems to household appliances. So, you get the chance to combine your creative skills with your own knowledge of the right materials and manufacturing process. A product designer will specialize in a specific product and will require good technical as well as CAD skills.

So, if you are considering a career in a creative field, try thinking out of the box. Explore different options and find out what appeals to you the most. While some of these careers may require you to have specific qualifications, there may be others that do not need any qualification or specialization.
