By Samantha Jenkins

Boudoir Shoot Photography

A Boudoir Shoot is a time for you to show off your best assets in a seductive intimate way. Theses pictures are a great gift for an important other in your life and leave very little to the imagination. The word "boudoir" is French for a intimate dressing area for a girl. A professional cameraman sometimes captures these intimate pictures in a bedroom setting, hotel room, or in a studio.

Boudoir Photography doesn't suggest naked, but you are showing skin. Wear what you feel most attractive in and if the photos are a present, what does your significant other like to see you in? You can wear underwear, swim-suits, bra and boxers, or maybe merely a men's shirt. A little teasing goes a long way.

Being Prepared for a Boudoir Shoot

Assuming this is you first Boudoir Shoot, you're going to have mixed feelings and a ton of questions. Don't be afraid to ask. Of course you're thinking about what a Boudoir Shoot will cost, but ask more questions. Learn how you can look like the models on the site but preparing for the boudoir shoot. You will be far more pleased with the outcome of the images.

With our experience of shooting one or two boudoir shoots, we'll be fair with our viewpoints and if you have doubts or second thoughts, we understand and we will toss around opinions to see what you are most comfortable with. Scheduling Your Boudoir Shoot

When we book you, we give our clients a list of what to do before the shoot, so you don't get worked up thinking about the day of the shoot itself.

Remember this boudoir shoot is for YOU, irrespective of the recipient. You are and this is a very satisfying chance to show it off!

To get some ideas and inspiration for your boudoir shoot check out some boudoir portfolios online or magazines like Adage. You get the point. The ladies looks attractive, but they are not showing it all off. Remember you need to show these pictures off, so don't take a photograph that you would not show the photograph to your best friend.

We have got a make up artist you can hire and we have got a professional eye to help you select the best looks and outfits for what you are endeavoring to get out of your boudoir shoot. You are way more then welcome to bring somebody a long with you if you'd like a second eye or another standpoint.

If you are inquisitive about precise settings or props, let us know before the shoot date and we are able to make preparations to have them. You may bring your own. If you see images that you want to recreate, email them to us and we may recreate that imagine with you in the session. If we think the image wouldn't highlight your best assets, we're going to inform you of our pro opinion and we will make it work for YOU!

Prepare for your Boudoir Shoot

When you walk in on the day of the boudoir shoot have confidence and feel stunning. Prior to selecting outfits and poses, we're going to discuss what you're looking to get out of the session and give you our feedback. We would like you to be fully snug through the whole session. We wish to know what body feature causes you to feel good about or what the recipient of the photos likes. We also want to know what parts you don't like, but keep in mind all we can make changes in post edited.

Not every photograph must be enticing, have some fun with this! We will take images of you laughing, smiling, and being silly as well! Most vitally, remember to breathe! Nerves can get the finest of you, but we would like you to look horny and holding your breath does not come across terribly attractive. Practice posing and inhaling front of your mirror and just relax so we will capture your natural sparkle!

We want the photographs to capture your sexiness. After all that is why you are interested in doing a Boudoir Shoot. So please don't diet or starve yourself for days before the shoot. You might want to restrict you salt intake and carbs on the day of or the day before, but that's all we suggest. You want to make sure you have sufficient energy to get through the session. Taking images can get exhausting! If you have "problem areas" we will talk about what poses would be flattering and which ones wouldn't work for you. Makeup, hair, wardrobe, and a little Photoshop can fix these issues!

After 1 or 2 conversations on what you like and don't like and taking a look at magazine inspirations, we are going to make sure you have one of the sexiest days of your life! On the day of your boudoir shoot, you'll have nothing to fret about, except feeling and looking your best!
