Planning Weddings Involves Much Though

By Adriana Noton

To have the most stress free wedding that you possibly can there are some things you can consider. Planning weddings is a anxiety filled task, but if money allows, you can hire a wedding planner. If this is not feasible, you can set up your own wedding guide and follow it to the letter.

The wedding budget is the first decision to be made. If the parents are helping out, they will let you know what they can afford to spend. A couple can pay their own way or add funds to the parent's money for a more elaborate event. Traditional ways of paying for a wedding have changed immensely in recent years. Set the figure you can spend and stick to it no matter what.

The first thing you must do is arrange for a place for the event to be held. Some couples enjoy the outdoors to exchange their vows, but a second choice should be made in case of bad weather. Where the ceremony and reception will be held has to be available on the same day, at the same time. Good cuisine is an important issue as is seating capacity. How well you get along with the staff is also vital. Know that they are willing to work with you and meet your expectations.

Choosing the bridal gown can seem daunting but there are many professional shops with people to help you. They know best the style that will compliment your figure. Time must be allowed for alterations upon arrival of the gown. If you order a custom gown, it must be done a year in advance. Wedding party dresses can be chosen along with the tuxedo styles.

Transportation and photographers should be booked. Both often have events listed up to a year in advance. Limousines should be clean and neat, with drivers being always on time for the event. Photographers now also offer videos of the event as well as photo's. Ask to see other work they have done before making your decision. Look into back up plans for both. Many things can happen in a years time and you want to be certain they both have back up plans in advance. The same advice is advisable in locating entertainment for your event.

Hall decorations can be picked out. Visit with your florist and bring along samples of your wedding colors. Colors should co-ordinate and compliment each other. Special holders attached to the head table can hold bridal party flowers and you have instant decorations. Select the table favors you like the most. There are many to choose from.

Guest lists can be difficult when trying to remain on budget. Couples are concerned with hurt feelings of uninvited friends but if your budget dictates 150 people, you cannot invite 200. Most people do understand your limitations. Invitation choices are many and most come in boxes of fifty cards. RSVP's are necessary and directions are nice for out of town guests. Address them and have them ready for mailing.

Six months prior to the big day, you can attend to smaller things. Seating arrangements and menu choices are examples. Planning weddings increases stress. Very few couples make it through the day without a case of nerves. Formalize your plans so that you know there will be no small detail forgotten. the perfect wedding guide means the more relaxed your wedding day will be.
